Nick Weber, Sound Engineer
Nick Weber embarked on his sonic journey in the world of audio from the early age of 9, when he first picked up drumsticks, evolving into a passion that would shape his life. Nick honed his skills in the school band, laying the foundation for what would become an abundant career. His musical odyssey took a significant turn at the age of 20, captivating audiences at popular venues like Shepherd’s Beach Resort, Clearwater Beach and The Hard Rock Café, Tampa. A pivotal moment in Nick 's drumming career unfolded in 2017 when he joined forces with Sabian cymbals as a product tester and sound byte recorder. His dedication to the craft and meticulous attention to sound quality earned him this prestigious position.
These days, Nick's expertise has found a perfect stage with preferred sound vendor status for notable events like the Safety Harbor Wine Festival, the Screaming Jalapeno sound stage at Safety Harbor’s Third Friday, and FeverUp Candlelight Concerts in Sarasota and St. Petersburg. Nick uses his decades of musical foundations to support education institutions such as the Academie DaVinci of Dunedin, the Mullins Music Kids Summer Rock Camp, and other events hosted at various Pinellas County Schools. Additional noteworthy collaborations include working with icons like the Spazmatics, Greg Billings, Bobby Friss, and 102.5 The Bone, solidifying his reputation as a sought-after audio professional.
Since 2015, Nick has been an integral part of Red Chrome Audio, establishing lasting business relationships. His technical prowess has left an indelible mark on various facilities, including Mariner United Methodist Church, Friendship Community Church, The Harbor, Crossroads Christian Church, Taoist Tai Chi Society, First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, St Petersburg Conference on World Affairs at USF, USF Board Meetings, and Cornerstone Community Church.
Working alongside her husband Nick, Shelly Weber is the dynamic CEO of WeberSound, bringing a unique blend of artistic appreciation and business acumen to the helm of the company. She embarked on her educational journey with a Bachelor's degree in Education, specializing in Art Appreciation, which she earned while studying abroad in Belgium. During her time there, she immersed herself in the vibrant cultural scene, gaining invaluable insights into the intersection of art and society.
Shelly's passion for music and sound led her to pursue internships with prestigious organizations such as the Music Instrument Museum (MIM) in Brussels, the Maasmechelen Muziekconservatorium and Villa Basta in Hasselt, where she honed her understanding of musical instruments and their historical significance. These experiences fueled her desire to channel her creativity into the world of sound engineering and production.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Shelly possesses a strong background in business management and customer service. She has demonstrated her leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit through various ventures, always striving to provide the highest quality products and services to her clients.
